We Know Now We Must Act

Education reform is becoming increasingly important in the public eye as those in the field of education begin to resist the influence of corporate dollars.

However, as the voice of the public increases, it must have a relevant purpose and that purpose must be the redirection of education towards success.

No longer should our children be subjected to the failure inherent in the deficit spending model of budgeting that controls the decision making of every municipality in America.

To continue to subject our children to a system of education that profits from their failure is inhumane and insane.

We know our current system of education is horribly flawed to the point of no salvation.

We know that corporations have paid politicians to push their agenda towards the failure that creates their profits.

We know public schools have varying curriculums depending upon the financial capabilities of their LEA’s.

We know the system of education is unfair to children whose parents are not, cannot be, wholly involved and invested in their child’s education because they too are trapped in a system dependent upon their failure.

Change is coming. However, what change occurs is up to the American people.

We must fight to change our current system of education so that it properly educates all of America’s children.

We must fight to create a system of education that concentrates on discovering, developing, and directing the gifts and talents of all of America’s children.

We must fight to return respect to the profession of teaching in order to revive the respect every American should have for education and being educated.

We must fight to remove the hatred of discrimination and the shackles of standardization in education and replace them with the love of learning and the freedom of creativity.

Awareness is the first step toward change. We are aware. The message is out, the people are involved, committees have been formed, and questions answered. Now it is time to act.

We know what must be done, we must change education so we can actually educate our children.
