Once upon a time in the kingdom of Rocisd the people were perplexed with a serious problem. The children of Rocisd only lived until about the age of six or seven and then they began to die. By the time they reached their sixteenth year, sometimes younger, they were nearly completely dead and walked around as mere shells of themselves.
“Whatever shall we do?” cried the people and they held meeting after meeting until all the people settled into the group that fit them best. Once each group was formed they began to work on a solution to their problem.
After a time the groups convened and each presented their solution. But, when it came time to choose the best solution the people began to argue and the children continued to die.
This is what was so perplexing about the problem. The solution to the problem of the problem of solutions was so simple that it took a very long time for the people to recognize the answer.
All of the solutions were the solution.
As the citizens of Rocisd began to communicate and conversate and then relate, they realized that there were many similarities among their solutions. They found that they could work together to wipe out the prevailing illness, and they could work in their groups, using their different interests to tackle the many different side effects of the major illness that plagued their children.
The work was difficult and there were many obstacles to overcome, but the people of Rocisd never gave up. They began to see that it was necessary to attack their problem from many different perspectives in order to save every child. The people realized that the illness affected different children in different ways and that in order to wipe out the illness and its side effects it would take all of their efforts.
Finally, after much sorrow and much joy, the children were saved and everyone in Rocisd, including future generations, lived
knowledgeably ever after.
Fairy tales can come true, when you’re young at heart.
